The adidas Yeezy 500 ‘Enflame’ spotlights the sneaker’s adiPRENE+ tooling with a vibrant orange finish.
Offering a blend of impact absorption and responsive cushioning, the podular midsole is directly inspired by the adidas KB8 3, released in 1999 as Kobe Bryant’s third signature shoe.
Up top, the sneaker’s complex build combines brown open mesh with soft suede overlays in tan, grey and indigo. A rubber midfoot wrap provides added durability and support.
Adidas' logo is three stripes, which is used on the company's clothing and shoe designs as a marketing aid. The branding, which Adidas bought in 1952 from Finnish sports company Karhu Sports, became so successful that Dassler described Adidas as "The three stripes company".
