The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 symbolizes a redux of the layered V1 aesthetic with its exaggerated proportions and intricate construction.
Unveiled in September 2019 and mirroring a V1 colorway, this Inertia edition softens the icon with a monochromatic mesh, suede and synthetic film upper.
Silver reflective accents settle on the heel. With color-pop detailing, the sculpted Boost midsole rides on top of a herringbone-patterned gum rubber outsole.
Adidas' logo is three stripes, which is used on the company's clothing and shoe designs as a marketing aid. The branding, which Adidas bought in 1952 from Finnish sports company Karhu Sports, became so successful that Dassler described Adidas as "The three stripes company".
