The Nike SB Dunk Low “Lunar Eclipse West” released in March 2006 as part of the “Lunar Eclipse” collection consisted of “East” and “West” colorways.
Dressed in a Stealth and Black color scheme. This Nike SB Dunk Low features a gradient design on its upper to mimci the effects of a lunar eclipse, which occurs when the moon moves into the earth’s shadow, with the “West” pair displayed to look from light-to-dark.
White tongues, toe box, laces, and midsole atop a Black rubber outsole with an eclipse logo embroidered on the lateral side of the heel completes the design.
The company was founded on January 25, 1964, as Blue Ribbon Sports, by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight, and officially became Nike, Inc. on May 30, 1971. The company takes its name from Nike, the Greek goddess of victory.
