The Nike Ja 3 ‘Daybreak’ features a ballistic mesh upper in Light Wild Mango, fortified with polyurethane overlays made up of raised Ja logos. Ja Morant’s signature branding embellishes the tongue and sockliner, while a vertical Swoosh graces the lateral side panel. Underfoot, the repeating Ja logo forms the traction pattern on the durable rubber outsole, with wraps up the full-length hybrid ZoomX foam midsole for lateral stability.
Every time Ja steps on the court, it’s showtime. To elevate his game, we worked with Ja to make his bounciest signature shoe so far. The Ja 3 is light, tough and a game-changer with springy ZoomX foam. “ZoomX is crazy responsive,” Ja says. “I call it that jet fuel.” We call it bad news for his defenders.

Ultra-Responsive Foam
The Ja 3 is our first kids’ basketball shoe to use springy ZoomX foam, giving Ja Nike’s highest energy return yet. “It’s that extra boost when I’m already moving fast,” Ja says.

Ja knows the outsole on the Ja 3 gives him an edge. “With this grip, I can break defenders off any time I want,” he says. A traction pattern made up of mini Ja logos lets him cook his opponents and leave his mark on the game.

Ja Dropping Design
When Ja sat down with our designers, his message was clear. “I told ’em, ‘Don’t be scared. Push it,'” Ja says. The result? The Ja Swoosh logo—a vertical Swoosh logo next to a graffiti-inspired “A.” Scratch marks round out the design to create a shoe ready for the bright lights.
