The Nike Ja 3 ‘Zombie’ celebrates Halloween with a patterned bright green mesh upper, featuring monogram-pattern overlays that utilize Ja Morant’s ‘JA’ logo. Outlined in crimson trim, a black vertical Swoosh on the lateral side panel extends into the neon green rubber cupsole, which houses full-length ZoomX foam cushioning with a midfoot shank for torsional rigidity. Unique details include fanged ‘MORANT’ lace dubraes and a sinister zombie graphic on the custom sockliner.
Every time Ja steps on the court, it’s showtime. To elevate his game, we worked with Ja to make his bounciest signature shoe so far. The Ja 3 is light, tough and a game-changer with springy ZoomX foam. “ZoomX is crazy responsive,” Ja says. “I call it that jet fuel.” We call it bad news for his defenders.
Inspired by Ja’s electrifying game, this special design helps you create your own must-see moments. Lace up the Ja 3 and tell them to grab their popcorn. Then, make them watch and make them pay.
The Ja 3 is our first kids’ basketball shoe to use springy ZoomX foam, giving Ja Nike’s highest energy return yet. “It’s that extra boost when I’m already moving fast,” Ja says.
Ja knows the outsole on the Ja 3 gives him an edge. “With this grip, I can break defenders off any time I want,” he says. A traction pattern made up of mini Ja logos lets him cook his opponents and leave his mark on the game.
The lightweight, durable upper provides a canvas for Ja’s unique style of play and the stability he needs to feel shifty.
When Ja sat down with our designers, his message was clear. “I told ’em, ‘Don’t be scared. Push it,'” Ja says. The result? The Ja Swoosh logo—a vertical Swoosh logo next to a graffiti-inspired “A.” Scratch marks round out the design to create a shoe ready for the bright lights.
“The Ja 2 was about control—locking in,” Ja says. “The Ja 3? It’s freedom. More bounce, more energy, more movement.” The combination of responsive ZoomX foam and the traction pattern helps Ja raise his game.
